So I did my workout today again, have been doing around 30 mins a day (sometimes more, sometimes a bit less) since we got the Wii fit, I have only missed one day! According to the Wii fit today I had lost 3lb since my last workout (I think it was since my last workout, or it may be altogether since I started?). However... I ate quite badly today so we'll see what those scales say tomorrow. I went through quite a few yoga and muscle exercises today, tried a couple of new ones out, the rowing squat wasn't too hard... but I'm finding the jack knives to be quite hard, but must be effective because they do leave me a bit sore! Again finished off with the aerobic stuff, basic step activity, basic hula hooping and a long jog (no boxing today).

So... my charted progress on the graph is a bit up and down but all together I feel I am making progress and slowly but surely losing weight. It's quite exciting to see your progress over time on the chart, especially as you edge closer to your target line!

I will try and weigh myself and compare to start weight / last weight etc. so I can perhaps start stating my weight loss progress on my posts!

So... just did 39 minutes on the Wii Fit. Started with the Step Basics moving on to Hula Hooping. I then did some Yoga and Muscle workouts, some balance exercise (football heading), followed by simple + advanced boxing and a long jog! I really feel by mixing all the different varieties of excercise you can achieve a nice broad workout, I especially like the jogging and boxing I really feel like i'm burning fat. No movement on my Wii Fit age (it still reflects my true age) and nothing worth noting on the weight loss or BMI at the moment, pretty much the same. Will keep you updated as things start changing (i'm very confident I can shed this 49lbs with the help of Wii Fit!), and of course i'm watching what i'm eating too, also trying to drink more water (don't have much choice after the boxing and jogging!). If you're wondering why I need to lose exactly 49lbs, well, around 49lbs, it's because that will bring me down to a safe BMI of around 24.5 which is just at the top end of the healthy weight for my height. If i find it easy I may continue from there to try and lose a further 7lbs but we will see how I feel at the time, and how I look!

Intro

Hi,

So basically, I was looking online for someones solid progress to try and see if you can achieve major weight loss with the Wii Fit, healthily... There are one or two, and I decided I should let others out there know too if it's possible, so I thought i'd set up a blog and update it regularly, to let others see a real time (kind of) progress tracker on a normal person who works in an office and just does normal things. I lost around 2 stone (28lbs) last year and have put around 7lbs of that weight back on since Christmas. I seem to have hit a brick wall with my weight loss, I managed to lose most of that 2 stone last year without exercise, but now feel the need to start exercising to really boost my weight loss again. I am to do around 30 mins per day on the Wii Fit over various of the different exercises available, my personal favourite at the moment is definately the jogging! I'm gonna try and take some pics of my progress and keep you all updated...

This should be fun...!
